See and Taste Belize Inc. was founded in 2015 by Janine Sylvestre with a view to share her passion for Belize’s rich and diverse culture depicted through the arts, music and cuisine. Parallel to this goal, See and Taste Belize Inc. is registered as a 501C3 in Florida to raise money for the underprivileged children of Belize.

See and Taste Belize Inc. was  introduced to the public in South Florida in 2015  when it hosted its fist one-day sold out festival. There was a subsequent festival in 2017 which enjoyed even more success as the first with approximately 1000 people attending.

The concept of the festival is for the visitor to have an authentic Belizean experience, therefore, Belizean chefs and artists comprising of painters, jewelry makers, artisans, and musicians to include the Garifuna Collective, were all flown in from Belize for the events.
